THC DOMINANT
THC is the psychoactive component in cannabis, associated with euphoric effects. THC dominant varieties typically contain 18%-35% THC with little to no CBD. Effects can vary from uplifting to relaxing, depending on the variety and terpene profile.
BALANCED
These varieties contain moderate amounts of both THC and CBD, offering a different experience that many prefer. The THC works with CBD to create a balanced, mellow effect. When present together, CBD can temper the effects of THC in your system.
CBD DOMINANT
CBD is the second most prevalent cannabinoid, and when isolated has no psychoactive effect. Most CBD dominant flower still contains some THC, usually resulting in an alert experience without heavy intoxicating effects.
Terpene Guide
Terpenes are fragrant essential oils found in cannabis, each lending distinctive aroma and flavour to the flower. These oils, when combined with THC and CBD, play a strong role in determining effect. This interaction is called the entourage effect.
CARYOPHYLLENE
A spicy, peppery terpene found in cloves, cinnamon, and black pepper. Often cited as helpful for uplifting mood.
MYRCENE
The most common terpene in cannabis, also found in mangoes, hops, and lemongrass. Linked to sedating effects.
LIMONENE
Has a citrusy bouquet and is the second most common terpene. May elevate mood, bolster focus, and relieve stress.
PINENE
The most common terpene in the world, found in pine needles and basil. May promote focus and alertness.
HUMULENE
Carries a subtle earthy, woody aroma with spicy herbal notes. Found in hops and coriander.
TERPINOLENE
Characterized by a fresh, piney, floral aroma recognizable in nutmeg and cumin. Contributes to energetic effects.
LINALOOL
Found in lavender and coriander. Varietals high in linalool are often sedative, creating a mellow experience.
